“I can’t thank everyone enough for the continuous love, support and interest in Waves! I can’t even put into words how much it’s means to me to be able to bring my talent that God has blessed me with to your doorstep and take away even the littlest bit of stress during this time. I have been asked by a few different people “why the name, Waves?” I was sitting down one night, in all honesty feeling pretty defeated, like most of us had or have felt. It felt like waves were constantly crashing on me and everyone around me and it was hard to feel okay or stay afloat during such uncertainty. I considered changing careers and even went as far as joining online classes since I didn’t know what direction the salon industry would be going in. I realized there will never be another career for me that I will be nearly as passionate or enthusiastic about. I got mad and said, instead of feeling like im being surrounded by these crashing waves, I toughened up and said make them!

I have been a stylist for a little over 7 years and have been blessed to be a part of weddings, graduations, proms, baby showers. I have shared laughs and tears with my clients, I have been with my clients through their losses, their gains, their struggles and their success. I want to continuously be there during this pandemic and long after. To anyone that says “it’s just hair” it just might seem that way, but the feeling it gives to people is SO much more than that! I’m thankful to be able to help the elderly that can’t leave their homes, the immune compromised, the busy student or young worker that is in meetings all day, the mom of 3 kids that can’t find a sitter or the person that simply just doesn’t feel comfortable being in the salon yet. The list goes on and it brings me such happiness to be able to simply, help. I have very big plans for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share them with you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
